Council

Michael Amster

Michael's been managing the official LAJUG mailing list for many years, and continues to do a stellar job. Also, his former employment database has proven indispensable to many members. Questions about the mailing list policy, job postings, etc. should be directed to Michael.

Ken Dempster

Ken leads the LAJUG Westside Study Group. The group meets each Tuesday--except the first Tuesday of the month--at E! Networks in Los Angeles. See the Calendar Page of this Web site for more information. In addition to leading the Westside Study Group, Ken edits the LAJUG Web site, keeping it--and especially the events on the Calendar page--up to date.

Gavin Doughtie

Gavin led the group for years, arranging and hosting nearly all the meetings. The council was formed in 2003 to better distribute the responsibilities among more people. Since that time, he has moved LAJUG to the back burner while purusing other interests.

envelope Matt Ingenthron

Matt provides LAJUG a regular meeting venue at the Sun Microsystems office in El Segundo. He is a Systems Engineer, a longtime Java enthusiast, and often contributes to our meetings as a host and speaker. He joined the council in 2004.
